COMPACTA
Pasteurizer and continuous freezer, all-in-one equipment
Compact equipment with complete pasteurization line and ice cream continuous freezer, all-in-one product. The heating, cooling and aging tanks are disposed on vertical position, in cascade, dispensing the use of mix transfer pumps. The ice cream freezer is mounted in the same cabinet, receiving the mixture by gravity as well. The total area used by the Compacta is lower than 1 sqm (1m2).
It is a completely new product, unique in the world, designed according to international needs.
Business purpose
For small and medium size ice cream facilities which need a practical equipment that occupies small area. For the ones who need to obtain industrial ice cream quality standards, with a controlled pasteurization cycle, efficient aeration and assured sanitization.
1. Price 50% lower if compared to independent horizontal pasteurization lines and ice cream freezers (conventional systems).
2. Occupies only 30% of the area normally occupied by an equivalent conventional equipment.
3. Weight 50% lower than an equivalent conventional equipment.
4. Cost of maintenance 30% lower due to few parts in the set.
5. Easy to wash and clean. Water and chemical products drop by gravity. Avoids high cost industrial CIP (Cleaning In Place) washing.
6. Easy to operate and safe. Centralized command panel of easy access.
7. Easy to transport due to reduced dimensions and monobloc structure.
8. Avoids the use of transfer pumps, traditional sources of ice cream contamination, through the use of tanks in cascade which makes possible the mixture transfer just by gravity.
9. Avoids traditional homogenizer. The high performance emulsifier helix, present in the heating and cooling tanks, reduces the mix particles size to very similar levels as the expensive high pressure homogenizers.
10. Avoids traditional multi-plate heat exchanger, also a traditional source of ice cream contamination and difficult to clean.

Installation
This equipment requires a tri-phase power socket and a connection with the water cooling tower. There are no tubings coming and going as in conventional equipment, nor an infinity of buttons and electric connections. It is safe, simple and very practical.
Operation
Mixture preparation/heating in the upper tank of the machine. Abrupt cooling process in the intermediate tank. Aging process in the two lower tanks. Finally, ice cream production in the freezer cylinder.
To operate this production cycle you can see each one of those stages, since they are concentrated in the front part of the machine, in a vertical way.
Maintenance
The groups which compose the equipment are disposed in modular and hermetic way to independently make any intervention, without disturbing the workability of the remaining parts. The removal of a cooling compressor, for example, does not interfere the operation of any other compressors.
